Consignor's contract
The Thrift Market will take any items for resale that can be sold at a reasonable price to benefit both the consignee and the consignor.
The Thrift Market will deduct a 40% commission from the sale of consignor's goods.
Checks will be available for proceeds from the sale of consignor's items in the month following such sales.
The Thrift Market agrees to merchandise items to the best of their ability and cannot be held responsible for fire, theft or accidents.
Consignor must carry their own insurance on items if necessary.
The Thrift Market requests that the consignor has two lists of all their
items one of which will be given to The Thrift Market and the other to
be kept by the consignor.
The price of each item may be decided on by the consignor or the consignee and must be mutually agreeable to both parties. Some dealers will request a 10% discount, which will be granted unless consignor has stated a firm price. The price of items will be reduced after six (6) weeks until they are sold or removed.
If any items do not sell in a reasonable amount of time (approximately three month's time) The Thrift Market may ask consignor to remove such items.
Should consignor fail to do so, after one month's time, The Thrift Market will donate item(s) to a local charity.
The consignor warrants that items are free of all liens and is the sole owner of items consigned.
Landrum downtown
While

to and strengthened its traditional downtown center through careful and
deliberate city planning.
